Microsoft has know this for some considerable time, from the many reviews, etc. but they in their
wisdom chose to ignore it.
From the PC World article, the question raised is what functionality will the Start button have, if and when it does make an appearance.
In addition to the Start button, reports earlier in April said Microsoft also was planning a boot-to-desktop option to allow PC users to bypass the Start screen without resorting to third-party options.
So we will have to wait and see if users be able to boot right into the classic desktop interface (without having to use another utility) and avoid the
Metro new interface.
