I tried this on a Windows 8.1 system and it didn't work properly.
What do you mean "properly"? What happened?
I didn't find any speedup and it actually opened one startup item twice.

Chrome extensions support would be nice since it is Chromium/Blink based browser,
something similar to Sleipnir browser.

Nice idea when you have a bunch of tabs open - whilst I can have the active tab highlighted, if you happen to hover over another tab it too gets highlighted. I have deleted this secondary tab on numerous occasions - fortunately a middle click on the tab bar restores the last closed tab.
