No room in the Security topics?
This topic has totally strayed from it's actual beginning.
One liners or headlines where never it's intended subject matter. Thanks

I have to agree with bob on this.
The one liners here do not seem to advise on Interesting Software and Systems, which I believe to be wider than just security software and vulnerabilities.
I also have to say the "Technical" thread has also become similarly restricted. IMO.

IMHO, quantity is not and has never been a substitute for quality and detailed information.

Not sure if this is even close to being On Topic - Interesting Software and System News

Elon Musk says Neuralink chip will let you stream music into your brain

https://www.digitaltrends.com/news/elon-musk-says-neuralink-chip-will-stream-music-into-your-brain/

I would take what Elon Musk says with a very large pinch of salt.  Easy to say futuristic cr4p like this as it is unlikely to come to fruition in my lifetime, not that I would ever fancy having a neuralink fitted if it were.  The IOT things presents many security issues since this brainwave (excuse the pun) came to fruition.  God knows what could be uploaded to your neuralink or its security/privacy issues.

Even if this does come to fruition I'm sure there will be many hoops to jump through before it would be allowed to be implanted/used.

OH wasn't there a neuraling sort of gismo in the film Kingsmen that had every ones head exploding :)

No Thanks Elon Musk.

To me this sounds like a possible great advance for those severely hearing impaired.

One has to do with the auditory nerve. Musk's would bypass that all together.
