Yeah but don't forget that what they are doing is ILLEGAL under Apples EULA and as such they have a imminent lawsuit comming from Apples legal tem.

Also their own Credit Card processing Company cut them off for shady behavior:
http://www.macworld.com/article/133079/2008/04/psystar.html

plus they have changed their physical addres smultiple times over the last few days:
http://www.macworld.com/article/133036/2008/04/psystar.html

A very shady company that will not last long anyway as Apple never granted them a licence to sell the Mac OS.

And  Bob, its Clear you want a Mac so why not just get one. The price is as good as its going to get, you are not going to get Mac OS X on non-Apple hardware. Everyone who bough this "Clone" will find out that it most likely will stop working when the 10.5.3 update is released and they will have to support from Apple since it is a illegally modified install.

Which is impossible under the terms of Apple's EULA.

100% right David. I already own hardware that's capable of running OSX and see no reason
to purchase more hardware just to make someone else rich.  ;D

Unless your hardware is using intel's EFI Technology it does not support running OS X without modifying the kernel and since EFI is only supported on certain versions of Windows I highly doubt your system uses EFI, most likely it still uses the older BIOS technology (EFI is designed to replace BIOS)

And even if your machine had the correct hardware, Apple's EULA still forbids you to install it on non-Apple hardware. If you do somehow get it to work it won't work for long, if a OS update replaces one of the files that were modified to get the OS to run on the non-Apple hardware you would have to re-install the OS to get the machine to boot again :P (And 10.5.3 should be released any week now)

My 1st ISP -- UARNet use AMaVis for checking inbound & outgoing mail, than my previous ISP www.zadarma.com used ClamAV for the same reason. So my conclusion is -- OpenSource is very popular at various ISP's.

Oosah lets you create customized multimedia slide shows (Oosahs) using Web videos and still images from your own hard drive,
or from major social networking and sharing sites such as Facebook and YouTube. Once you've collected the images you want to use,
you can drag and drop them onto a workspace and then add transitions and music. You can publish the finished product on your Web site
or on removable media (such as a DVD), or export it to PDF for printing out.

Here's an example of a little something I put together in a few minutes.

If you try this, why not add your creations here.  :)

Springnote
This is a simple notebook application that comes with a collection of templates--calendars for to-do lists,
an event planner, a reading list, a recipe, and so on. It's easy to set up.

It's a handy tool.  :)

Mac OS 10.5.2 = Apple Vista?
Quote
I’ve heard many different complaints about Mac OS 10.5.2 since it was released, from my own Skype/podcasting problems to issues with just about everything else, including: printing, third-party wireless routers, software freezing and problems with Time Machine. The Apple discussion boards are littered with stories about all kinds of crawlers in 10.5.2, and while hardly an epidemic, they’re not exactly isolated incidents either.
Mac any comments ? Is this being corrected ?

I am not Kyle, but I can also give my input here...

Not a single issue they lined up here on my end. I really have no clue what they are talking about. Not a single issue with wireless routers and my router for sure is not Apple router, it is Netgear. Software freezing ? Maybe they should start buying original software, rather than using all kinds of cracks and patches made by who knows who  ;) Printing ? What are they talking about, are they nuts ? Problems with Time Machine ? Maybe they should learn how to use it first, and then go back to those threads and erase those posts so they don't have to feel ashamed.

If I'm having all those issues they are lying about on this page, I wouldn't work on my Apple and completely switched from my PC machine. Instead, I completely switched, not 99%, but whole 100% of my work is done on my Mac (Leopard 10.5.2). I would never ever go back to Tiger again. Even though Tiger is a rock solid OS, I found OS X Leopard to be a lot more responsive, faster, giving me a lot more useful features than Tiger.

Some people are having troubles and it will always be like that, but they should start thinking of replacing their dinosaur G4s and G5s with Intel based machines. We are getting more demanding applications every day, and no one is complaining, so why having so much fuss about OS that requires latest technology ? And still a lot less demanding that Vista is. To run Vista nicely you almost have to have one of those super high end machines otherwise your productivity may slow down to a crawl.

Edit: Author of the article may be just another MS lover out there... let's try to wash Vista's problems with this article...  ;D Too bad, nothing will wash it, not in recent future.

Yeah 10.5.2 is stable for the most part. As for problems on Apple's Discussion board Ill say the same thing thats been said here before, only users with problems show up on those boards, if you look in the Avast home/Pro section of the forum you would think that avast was riddled with issues even though its quite stable.

Also For those that are having issues, the 10.5.3 update is due out by the end of the month
