I'm not sure about the other browsers but with IE you can also just right click the IE icon and choose "start in private browsing"

Or, if IE is already open, click on the tools icon, then on Safety, and then InPrivate Browsing. I usually forget about it though so rarely use it. I hate using key combinations.

Hmm, ctrl+shift+P does nothing for me in IE.
Ahh, you have to hold the keys down for a second or two. Then it opens a new instance of IE on the task bar and you have to click on that. Doing it through the tools menu opens the new window automatically. Yet another strike against shortcut keys  ;D

Not for me and it only opens in the taskbar like 1 out of 10 times. Usually, it does nothing at all.

Ahh it works if I press WINDOWS+Ctrl+Shift+P, but that's not how it was presented.

Need to charge something on the go

http://blog.laptopmag.com/top-laptop-charger-bags

http://goplugbags.com/

http://www.tylt.com/energi-backpack/

http://www.thenorthface.com/catalog/sc-gear/surge-ii-charged-backpack.html

I keep one of these fully charged in my computer bag
before leaving for any trip. It's a lot cheaper that way.
Similar devices can be purchased all over at very reasonable prices. :)

A rule every computer user needs to learn:

When all else fails, reboot. It might just fix your problem.

That also goes for your router when you're having internet problems!

If that doesn't cure what ails you, come back here and ask for specific help.
Don't forget to give us as much information as possible. It's your computer
and we aren't mind readers. :)
One last note of advice. There are some updates that require a total shutdown
of your system and then a restart in order for the changes to drivers to take effect.
