The short answer is yes.
Just remember that there are limits in the free version:

If you're using the Chrome Browser, you might want to check this out:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/tunnelbear-beta/omdakjcmkglenbhjadbccaookpfjihpa?hl=en
As this is an open forum, I just want to say the obvious (for us): any VPN is as safe and as private as the confidence you can put in the company and the technology you take. Recently, readings of mine made me drop completely of a backup and VPN solution due to confidence failure in the 3rd party company. Take care :)

@Lisandro,
When I really need a reliable VPN, the only one I depend on is Avast Secureline.
I certainly would never spend any money on the browser add-on discussed in my post. :)

                             Reason Core Security

It combines Reason Software's top products in one convenient pack:
Should I Remove It? to cull the bloatware that comes with a new computer;
HerdProtect, a cloud-based malware scanner; Boost, a performance utility; and
the popular Unchecky, which deselects third-party software offers to stop them
from tagging along when you're installing an app you do want.

By the way, your next post, are you using Reason Core Security? Does it worth side by side with Avast?

No conflict but, I'm happy with just using their Unchecky product.
Unfortunately uninstalling Core Security, makes re-installing just Unchecky impossible.
I'm still waiting for an answer from their support how to totally remove the Reason Core Security.
(This is still the best support forum. :))
I used a restore point which I created just before installing the product to get things back to a point where
I was able to re-install Unchecky.

A new toy for a grownup boy!

The first thing I did after receiving this Lenovo Z50 was to verify that Superfish wasn't installed. :)
Step two, download Avast and the removal tool for McAfee AV. A trial version was installed on this system.
Step three, remove McAfee and Install Avast. I also installed ClassicShell since this system came with Windows 8.1
I removed virtually every pre-install software except the OneKey Recovery program provided by Lenovo.
Today I put OneKey Recovery through it's paces:

The backup took less than 20 minutes. Once completed, I tested the restore function:

The restore function took less than 10 minutes. The picture of the system
was taken after the system had been restored from the image OneKey Recover media.
If you own a Lenovo, this is an excellent feature to keep and use on a regular basis. :)

@ Bob

If you turn off "secure boot" before "one key restore" you could install a completely different Windows OS.
Only if your system supports UEFI.
Dell Inspiron, Win10x64--HP Envy Win10x64--Both systems Avast Free v17.9.2322, Comodo Firewall v8.2 w/D+, MalwareBytes v3.0, OpenDNS, Super Anti-Spyware, Spyware Blaster, MCShield, Unchecky, Vivaldi Browser and, various browser security tools.

Bob, I see there are a few different models of the Z50 with different CPU's and graphics. Which one did you get?

Exactly why I now own it. I really didn't need another computer. One of my granddaughters will be happy to
receive my oldest laptop. She currently doesn't have a laptop. :)
