AOhelL for free ??

Due to declining subscribers, they are contemplating making their service available for free to
customers that who use broadband.
Dial-up customers would still have to pay.

IMHO, AOL in any form, is still an invasion of my computer system.  ;D

Transform XP into a Mac look-alike

Flyakite OSX (visually) transforms your Windows XP desktop environment into a a complete simulation of a Mac computer, including cursors, sounds, visual styles, login screen and other details. The program bundles a variety of individual tool to add additional Mac functionality such as colored folder icons, taskbar, dock and much more. FlyakiteOSX is not a simple desktop skins, but makes extensive changes to your system - it can automatically create a Windows Restore Point, allowing you to safely revert any changes. If you are a fan of the Mac interface but prefer the Windows operating system, this is a must-try software.

Virtual Sandbox™ 2.0
Stops spyware and virus infections, protects privacy, allows for the safe isolated execution of untrusted programs, blocks malicious access to personal files and local networks, isolates email attachments for safe execution, and discards file or registry changes made while browsing.

Another anti-virus program for the weary masses ::)

Got Safari-envy but stuck in Windows? Swift is a brand new open source web browser for Windows that's based on WebKit, the rendering engine that powers Apple's Safari, which in turn is based on KHTML from the Linux browser Konqueror. Swift is a free download, but it's in very early alpha. It's a functioning browser that will load web pages--very quickly, in fact--and has a modal/tabbed interface and a search box, but otherwise has basically no frills, not even bookmarks, and crashes are frequent. Still, definitely a project to keep an eye on.

Google and MYSpace.com form an alliance
On Monday, MySpace.com's parent company, Fox Interactive Media (owned by News Corp)
announced a newly launched deal with Google that will give the search engine exclusive rights
to online search results and sponsored ads on the MySpace web community.
The deal also gives Google the same access to Fox Interactive Media's other online enterprises
such as RottenTomatoes.com and Scout.com.

Virtual Sandbox may protect you from viruses because anything you do while using this
program is erased after you stop using it but,
it definitely is NOT an anti virus program..... ;D

A special invitation to listen to my Pandora Music Station. (Broadband Helps)

To immediately listen to this music station I've created (named "John Denver Radio")
simply click on this link or copy and paste it into your Internet browser:

http://www.pandora.com/?sc=sh79531567283830433&tc=e-001424-0035-1137

This station plays on Pandora, a music listening and discovery service. Pandora
enables users to easily create streaming stations that explore their favorite
parts of the music universe.

Enjoy!  :)
