The old no bus for an hour and along come three together seems apt with MS, years between IE6 and the release of IE7 now before the ink is dry they are touting IE8 makes you wonder what they are up to. I still haven't converted to IE7 at this rate I may miss it out and wait for the IE8 bus to arrive ;D

What's New with OpenDNS?
==============================================================
OpenDNS celebrates first year!
Are you using OpenDNS to its full potential? Over the last couple
months we've been busy delivering features that let you better manage
and control your Internet experience. If you're not yet up to speed,
here's a quick overview:

 * Domain Blocking -- Many of you asked for a simple way to block a
single domain on your network. With OpenDNS, now you can. You might
have complex firewalls and other gear but they don't easily do the
simple task of blocking myspace.com. We're glad to offer this
service, and thousands of you have taken advantage of it. Oh yeah,
  it's free.

  More at: http://www.opendns.com/
 * Adult Site Blocking -- If there was one complaint we got about domain
blocking it was that we didn't offer a list of adult sites to block.
Good news - now we do. We teamed up with our friends at St. Bernard
Software to provide an accurate and easy way to block adult sites on
your network. Oh yeah, it's free too.

I have seen no impact in using the OpenDNS as my dns server. I also use DNS caching in my firewall for the last 200 records, that saves the IPs so you aren't constantly accessing the OpenDNS server/s.

The adult site blocking is an option not compulsory.

Adult site blocking is an optional network feature, which goes into effect only if you enable it for your network.

Intel, and the `$100 Laptop' Project Make Peace
In recent weeks, Negroponte and Intel CEO Paul Otellini began peace talks, culminating in a face-to-face meeting.
Thursday at Intel headquarters in Santa Clara, Calif. And on Friday, the two sides said they had joined forces:
Intel will join One Laptop Per Child's board and contribute money and technical expertise to the project.

Make Firefox Look like Internet Explorer
Why would you want to do this? Because it's a clever way to wean change-resistant users away from IE.

McAfee's A/V software runs amok on Vista
Every 4 minutes and 10 seconds, McAfee's anti-virus software sends a splash screen across the Vista UI
and leaves a new "M" in the tray of Windows Vista.
