I can't this isn't the first time they have done this sort of thing, when you consider auto update slipping in a WGA update in as a critical update. Trustworthy computing, I think not.

that he doesn't like. The feature forces users to reboot their PCs with only a short warning before it happens.

It is already financially damaging to the hip pocket even before you even consider this. iPhone has just been released (or at least notified) in the UK and much the same it is only available from supplier (Carphone Warehouse) and with only one network.

The cost about £250 but here is the rub, Apple will get a percentage of the revenue from the calls during the longer contract term, this will no doubt be seen in higher than normal tarrifs/call charges. Thanks but no thanks.
