I dont put much weight in that test. I mean they tested for the number of bugs in the BETA versions. Its called beta because it has bugs. It would have been more accurate to test the latest stable releases.

It really won't make much difference if the reason for those holding out is they don't have the hardware to have already upgraded to Vista, they would have the same problem with Windows 7 as the spec is effectively the same as Vista. MS have said that those on Vista will be able to run Windows 7 on the same hardware without a need to upgrade it.

There wasn't a huge difference in the results anyway, if you look at the actual figures in the graph axis, rather than the Bars which accentuate what is most cases is a small difference. If the scale was smaller it wouldn't look so dramatic.

What are a few seconds in the boot times, given a few months and a dozen installations, etc. no one will get those figures anyway.

Here's something I just received from Joost.

Quote
In October, we introduced our new website – Joost.com. With our new website, you're able to watch all of our videos –
TV shows, music videos, and films – right in your web browser.
At this point, we have decided to discontinue our original Joost software application. As of Friday, Dec. 19th, you will no longer be able to watch
videos in the Joost software application – but you will be able to find all of our videos, and more, on Joost.com.
Log on to Joost.com today for a complete online video experience!

If you have Joost software installed on your computer, as I did,  it's time to remove it.  :)
