wow... that's soon... thought it was going to be in December but five months from now...hmh
had some friends that tried it out and said it outclassed vista. Can't wait to see how well it runs when the final release comes out.

So lets get this right, MS is going to be updating 4 OSes at once:
Windows 2000
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7


Thats a lot of updates to push out every month.

Just curious, When are they going to end updates for Win2000?

Interesting indeed!  Apparently this Extremely critical 0-day exploit of Microsoft DirectX is not going to be patched next Tuesday.  If you have a vulnerable system, follow the directions I've linked here for applying a workaround immediately.  Windows Vista is not affected.

Vista is their flagship OS now so if its not affected then they might not consider this a very high risk threat. Im sure Win 2k/XP will get the patch next month.

You're apparently using an incompatible browser try Firefox or IE.

The link works perfectly well with Opera 9.64 as well as with those Bob mentioned above.
