Even at 25GB, that is larger than most UK ISPs monthly band with, my broadband with BT was 10GB, I have since got faster broadband now so the different package gives 40GB per month. So we in the UK have had this for a long time.

The real shame is those crooks are still able to advertise unlimited broadband, and site their fair use to restrict 'unlimited.'

Strange. As far as I knew most of Europe did not suffer the plight of caped services. I know Romania (not the most popular example) has no caps for most Internet service providers.

Can't believe they can advertise unlimited broadband while having a cap.

I wasn't talking of most of Europe but rip off UK in particular. Believe me they do advertise unlimited and have small print to get around it and it is disgraceful.

all EU ISPs have caps... the amount of maximum download amount /month is not mentioned anywhere, but they (the ISPs) admit it themselves, the cap exists on so called unlimited bandwidth offers, just hard to reach ;D

Yeah here, the have fair use clauses...that gets them out of the so called "unlimited" broadband...

I did watch a program a while ago, and they found that only one that advertised as unlimited actually gave unlimited. Not really sure on the situation now...
