Windows 10 Avast MSI
« on: December 07, 2016, 04:03:14 PM »
I am getting "Error1006 Last performed operation was opening the self-extract archive". This is on a Windows 10 machine with all of the latest Windows 10 Updates. I am installing the client software MSI that was created from the Deployment task in the Endpoint console. Has anyone seen this error before? I have tried multiple machines and I've created the installer more than once using the console. The console version is the latest download from the Avast website.

I'm using my purchased copy of Windows 10 from the Microsoft Volume Licensing website.

Please post the portion of the remote install log related to this machine

For Enterprise Console: C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Enterprise Administration\DATA\log
For Small Office Console: C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Administration Console\Logs

Cheers,
