Scan date
« on: December 08, 2003, 09:40:30 PM »
Each time that a scan is made, date remains unchanged. How can I display date of scan made. Any help will be most appreciated.

Many thanks for your prompt help - after reading over carefully contents, I am unable to find solution to the non- display of scan date.

My Avast details shown on screen are:

         0311-3   5-12-03
         High
         11/26/03
         Not yet done
         On

I have carried out several scan since above shown date, this date still remains at 11/26/03.
Has any forum member experienced this error, and if indeed a solution does exist?

Which scans were those? I mean, did you explicitly select the HDD icon (the local disks area) and let the scan complete? Or did you choose, e.g. a single disk in the Select a Folder dialog?

Thanks

Are you running a "full scan" each time.

Select a Full Scan.

Select all, except CD/Floppy drives.

Thank you,

Hi.

Yes... I have and I can direct you to a good link <only joking> (Culpeper  :) ).

But seriously, I've just tested and my Scan Date is updating OK.

If I remember, didn't Vlk offer a file to download for the fix (on my occassion anyway).

Good luck,
Old W.

Not really. It was just a visual proof that you were doing to wrong. :P

(no new functionality, just extra message boxes in it...)

Yes, there is always a good link somewhere.  I will find it and post it ;D

There is a good link somewhere showing my recent discovery of the Avast help files :-[  They were well hidden and kept secret but I eventually discovered them :D

Culpeper,

I did a search for help files with your name and only came up with references to the 'Culpeper Files'. .. nice title  ;D .

Is there a link to something I've missed, I like 'help'  ;)

Cheers
