Avast Boot Up Scan

Does anyone have some direction on how to do a Virus Scan on boot up?

I have a virus and need this info ASAP.

avast! help file, Simple User Interface, How To: 'Scheduling the Boot Time Scan' a very helpfull ;D document.

The boot-time scan is only available for WinXP, Win2k and winNT.
