Port Scan.
« on: December 08, 2016, 10:59:09 PM »
SBS 2003, mapped drives, network printer. Not always but on occasion the printer and drives get blocked.
Turn off firewall, all is okay again.

I am using Avast Internet Security.  When I go to Menu, Tools, Firewall, Logs, There is nothing under "Blocked Traffic.
Under Rules I see a blocked IP Address for  Port Scan Detection.  The IP number is my server. Do I make a rule to allow it?

Hi robp, welcome to the forum :)

Please try this :

Avast - Settings - Components - Firewall - Customise - Policies - and under "Preferences" select "Internet Connection Sharing mode" - OK.
