I dont know what else to do except to uninstall Avast Firewall... I installed Connectify and I also have a pocket wifi ap USB adapter and they both work only when firewall is completely disabled.

I did try to add the files from the program files as exceptions and I did set all connections for these 2 apps to be allowed, and still, it oly works when I completely disable it! There must be something wrong with the firewall settings or I might be missing something?

Why using Connectify ?
Doesn't your modem/router has WiFi ?

I dont have one, I am using qa wifi antenna to connect to a network, and I wanted to forward this connection to a smartphone and tablet that I have in my apartment, so I bought this mini USB Wifi A.P. adapter to do that, and it only works when the firewall is disabled, in the meantime I found out about Connectify so I used the antenna that receives the wifi to also emmit the received signal, but it also only works when the firewall is disabled, I don't know how safe it would be to leave it without the firewall, and I really need to forward the connection...

I tried Connectify about a year ago and had some issues getting it to connect. The link below may help.

Check the firewall's log file and see what part of connectivity is blocked.
Next, set the appropiate rule for it.

I already tried to do what is said in this article, but this part is quite confusing to me and I couldn't manage to work it out:

I have absolutely no idea how to interpret the log file...

For Connectify have you tried Internet Connection Sharing Mode ?

In addition to the above named ports, if your firewall software has any settings involving Internet Connection Sharing (ICS), please enable support for these.

Avast - Settings - Components - Firewall - Customise - Policies - and under "Preferences" select "Internet Connection Sharing mode" - OK.
