i've got a problem
i used avast password manager for android, i logged with my email, but I forgot the master password because i didn.t used the app a long time. i unistalled it, and i tried to use again the app with that account, but i need the permision from an authorized  device to register a new device. . i don.t have any authorized devices, so I can.t continue using the app with my account. i tried to reset the account with the mail but I don.t know what i have to do to get that email. i don.t know the steps. i don.t have any password saved, so i can safety reset it. so, i don.t want to change any password. i just want to use again the app, with my account by getting the reset email from avast.
I didn.t received email in inbox
i didn.t got an email reply from avast support   
android version 5.0
i have an code with 6 red digits but i don.t know where i can use it
 whanks!

It is a real bad idea to post your email on a public webboard as it will be harvested and used by spammers and other bad guys.

You need to use the mail that you received after you bought avast passwords.
If you don't have that mail (anymore), there is no way to recover your password.

I don.t have that rmail. Can i delete my account and make a new one? It will works?

You need to remove avast passwords completely and install it again.

Hi there,

I'm having the exact same issue. 
 - I have not received the backup passwords email from my previous attempt
 - As per advice, I have now uninstalled the Avast password-app and Avast AV from all my devices
 - I have re-installed only the Internet Security product on my PC
 - I create a new password DB in the Internet Security App
 - When I try and sync, it asks me to get authorisation from another device...  I have no other devices!

Please could someone from Avast and fully reset my account, so I can start again properly and get this sync'ing working?

Thanks Eddy,

But, yes... I have been through that link and the steps a number of times to remove all other sync'ing devices, and reset the sync. on the primary device.  I never received the "restore your backup email", so that is not an option.

I now only have Password Manager running on my PC, and have re-installed the software a number of times.  I appear to start with a clean DB, with no other devices, but when I start the sync, i get a message to authorise the sync from another device.

I can't see what else to do to get this working.
