Problem connecting to Windows Mobile Hotspot

Hello! I had Avast Internet Security 13.3.2280 installed in my Surface Pro 4. Everything has been working fine except that after connecting to the Mobile Hotspot of another desktop through wifi, I get no internet. Connecting to other WIFI networks (e.g. from a router) does not come with any problem.

Any help is very much appreciated!

Make sure the firewall settings are correct to allow the connection.

What are the settings I need to make? I don't have to make any of them to connect to a regular WIFI (non-windows hotspot).

If the firewall is set to public change it to private (or the other way around).

If that doesn't solve it, put the setting back to what is was and enable ICS mode.

Check the avast log file(s) and see if anything is mentioned in it/them about the blocking.

Not just the firewall log, also the other log files especially the webshield log file.
