[Bug] Detection name/path brackets inverted
« on: December 21, 2016, 09:16:23 AM »
See the attached image I captured during SecurityFirst's test of AVG IS. Pay attention to both, square and parentheses brackets in malware name and also file path. They are both inverted of how they should be positioned.

FileRepMetagen ]Malware[ instead of FileRepMetagen [Malware]
Malware )244(.exe instead of Malware (244).exe

I'm not aware of seeing this in AVG Antivirus Free BETA, but check it in all editions anyway. This was from AVG Internet Security BETA.

What happened to  software analyzer? It was very active in your test. But it seems to be  nonexistent now. It's not working in this test? That's interesting???

What "this" test? The reason why it was so active in my test is because I was only testing Software Analyzer. In SecurityFirst test, he also used other shields which blocked malware with signatures.
