SERVER NOT COMMUNICATING TO MANAGEMENT CONSOLE
« on: December 22, 2016, 03:17:43 PM »
I have a server at our branch office that stopped communicated with our AES console.  In the AES console the server shows as black instead of green.  However, the Avast icon on the server itself is up and running normally.  It also shows todays virus definitions.  I'd prefer not to do the nuclear option of uninstalling and reinstalling since that would require reboots.  Is there another way to have this server show as communicating again?

I took a chance and tried restarted the avast services on the server and that fixed my issue.

Hi Bassmaster, Yes the console client service is responsible for the communication to the AES server
