Avast Cleanup License still valid but...

Avast Cleanup License still valid till 07-19-2017. I have installed windows a few times. Win 8 to 8.1 to 10 then realized 8.1 is the tits. Anyhow it says cleanup has been used to many times but it's still valid and registered to this machine. How do I contact technical support to reset the license? TIA. Kirk

Don't use the activation code, but the license file.
If you still get that message, you need to contact avast > https://support.avast.com
