no answer from avast-support
« on: December 28, 2016, 12:29:12 PM »
i downloaded the avast-safezone-browser for two-weeks and 7-days ago i bought the SecureLine-VPN for browsing in the internet without spying after me, hackers or the big-brother....
i bought it for two-years at $52 without trying it because i assume i was drunk....
i have a new strong INTEL-PC CORE-i7 with WINDOWS-10 and after i installed the ''secure-software'',  i had no access to the internet at all....when i type the web-address he think without ending and don't enter the web-site....but when i put it in OFF-POSITION, i have no trouble to get any web-site i want and very fast....
i wanted help from avast-support 7-days ago approximately every two days, but i get answer from their computer to wait in the line....
now i want a refund because even if the software will work someday, i know now that my internet-provider-company knows very well which web-sites i'm entering....
is anybody know why AVAST doesn't answer me at all and how can i get my $52 back???.....a decent company doesn't work in this funny strange way.....

You can't just download the avast SafeZone browser, it comes with all versions of the avast av.

I don't know what you have bought, but I don't see anything (either single product or combined) that is costing $52 for two years.

avast handles tickets within 1-5 workdays (depending how busy it is, if there are holidays, etc).

Note:
Decent people don't get drunk. :P

well Eddy about the ''decent''....I have a diabetic-sugar-problem and I wrote ''drunk'' because I was in low-sugar position and it's like being drunk....
and the product I bought is Secure-Line-VPN.
they promise you that no one can spy after the web-sites that you are visiting if you install this product....but they forgot to tell you about your internet-provider who knows every thing and if I was in a normal sugar-level as I am now, I am sure that I would not buy it.....and for 2-years the price was $52 my friend.....so when I say "drunk",  you can anderstand what I mean....
at this moment it's 7.5-days with no answer from their support or their customer-department as I asked them... :'(

Ah, that kind of "drunk".
I know what it looks like as I know some people who have diabetes and I've worked in a hospital.

Please post your ticket ID here and I will ask someone from avast to have a look.
Support was on holiday (Christmas) and there was the Saturday.

thank you dear Eddy if you can help, my last ticket-ID nu' is 648943 and this is what I wrote them -
------------------------------------------
hallow to you Avast
i downloaded two weeks ago your very good avast-safe-zone-browser, but I have a diabetic-sugar-problem and one week ago at december21, I was in a low-sugar-position, (it's like a drunk man), when i bought your Secure-Line-VPN -- SKU NO' IS SLA-01-001-24-AR.
i saw that no one can spy and track after the web-sites that i am visiting in, but I forgot, (because of the low-sugar), my internet-providing-company, who knows every thing about my web-sites, and if I was in a normal sugar-level as I am now, I'm sure that I would not buy it...
please refund my $54 that I paid for two years with my card....9647, and instead of this I want to buy for one year your avast-cleanup at $16.
thank you! – 2016-12-28

I strongly suggest to remove your email address from your post.
This is a public webboard and everyone can see it, including the bad guys and they will (ab)use it for spamming.

I've forwarded your request to avast.
As I do not work for avast, I can't promise anything but I expect that you will get a reply within 48 hours either through your ticket or here on the webboard.

Hi shaul5540,

I am really sorry about the delay :(

I would really like to investigate the problem you mention further, but at the same time I don't want to keep your paid license as hostage. Therefore, I am at the moment refunding your purchase, but at the same time I am issuing a free license for Avast SecureLine for 1 year to your account. You will be able to find it at https://my.avast.com
Could you please connect once more and then to generate a support package as indicated here https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB33 ?
You already got a ticket so you can skip the first step :)

thank you moroni........(of course I guess it is with Eddy's help).....
I understand from you that you refund me all the $54 that I paid for 2-years, but I really don't need the free license that you gave me for 1-year for the secure-line-vpn, because I thought, (when I was in low-sugar-position as a drunk-man), that no one including the big-brother can see which web-sites I am entering....but you know very well that my internet-providing-company knows very well where I am entering....so I don't need with respect and thanks to you this secure-line-vpn....
I think that I can use the avast-cleanup, but can I try it for a month or two before I pay for it my friend moroni?
and why can't I get a notice in my email when there is a reply to my message my friend moroni?

Psst, it is moroni not moroniC

And you can get a reply if some is posting in this thread.
You just have to enable it in the "Attachments and other options"

Hi shaul5540,

I think I can add a two months license for Cleanup to your account. I will try not to forget :D

And about SecureLine, your ISP cannot see what you do while you are connected to SecureLine. All what they can see is that you are connected to "Avast" and nothing else :)

so avast will know which web-sites i'm entering......
i'm looking for something that will make my internet-surfing a total privet thing that no one can see and know what are my problems in this life....
and in this case avast will know where i'm visiting in the web......so I prefer that my surfing stay a public thing, but at least I keep my money in my pocket.....

There is no such thing as you want.
It is technically not possible.

How do you think to connect to a site if you don't tell to what site you want to connect to ?

avast doesn't see the pages/content you look at as the data is encrypted.
