Transferring licence from Windows 10 computer to Mac
« on: January 03, 2017, 01:04:48 PM »
Hi,

I have just got a Mac Book Pro and need help transferring my Avast Pro licence from my previous Windows computer. I have installed Avast Pro as the website instructs, but it will not recognise my license file (downloaded from my account). Every time I try inputting it, it says 'invalid license'.

Could someone please help!

Please (re)search before posting/asking.
This has been explained befored.

It is not possible as the license is per platform (OS).
Besides that, the MAC version is free.

On a note:
avast is working on a cross-platform licensing system, but there is no information what the current status of it is. (e.g. introduction date).

Besides that, the MAC version is free.

There is a "Pro" version of the Mac product which can be used (unlike the free version) for commercial purposes.
But the license files are not compatible with the Windows  products.
