Avast Sound?
« on: January 05, 2017, 02:58:01 AM »
I'm using avast free just scanned a large file, and avast didn't detect anything, but i got a sound clip saying "file has been scanned" and some weird noise right after that i have never heard before. I scan my computer all the time, and I have been using avast for about 9ish months, and i've never heard this sound.
Is this normal and i've just never heard it, or did something modify my avast program?

'Scan has been completed' is what I believe you have heard - See C:\ProgramData\AVAST Software\Avast\sounds\2057 for other sounds that you may encounter.

Double click the file to hear it.

- With a resident (on-access) scanner the need for on-demand scans is much depreciated. For the most part dormant/inert files are being scanned, the other active files are going to be scanned by the resident shields when they are activated.
