I woke up today to "This phone has been lost or stolen!" I did not initiate this alert, so I logged into avast's website, changed all my passwords and my pin, and checked activity log, where to my surprise it says "A list of your contacts, sms messages, and calls was exported" Exported by whom? Because it wasn't me! I want to find this bastard, but I can't even do that because as a free user, I can't even report nefarious activity to avast

Is there any way I can find out who exported the list, or to where? Is there a list of who sent remote commands to my phone?

I *did* do that, they sent me an automated reply saying they can't find my paid license, and that I should try the forums

There is no support difference between free and paid versions.

Experienced exactly the same, got the same answer as you, that I have no licens and must go to this forum for help. Can somebody please answer if they think it really is somebody exported my sms messages and contact list, som kind of hacking my phone, or if it is just avast itself doing some kind of security savings?

Unless something has changed that I don't know of, avast isn't exporting things by itself.
