How long does it take to get a refund?
« on: January 19, 2017, 02:40:14 AM »
Ok so the story is...I bought Avast Cleanup a year ago and paid 89 $ pesos from Argentina or something like that.
But now the renewal comes and it charges me 40 U$S US Dollars.

So i send a ticket a week ago...
No one answer yet...(i find that to be another good reason to ask for a refund).

Sooo usually how much time does it take? In the page said that the request had to be done in up to 15 days from the purchase.
Am i going to get an answer 10 days from now saying "Sorry but your time to ask for a refund expired"

I guess this is the ticket number #669519, just in case.

It doesn't matter when avast responds.
The date of submitting the ticket is what matters.
If you submitted it within the 15 days, it will be handled and if you are entitled for a refund you will get it.

I though the time frame was up to 30 days to request a refund, unless that is only for the primary anti-virus products.

That really isn't good, I feel any product that you purchase for a year really should be 30 days.
