Cannot install Avast

I keep getting this error message everytime I try to install Avast both online and offline.  I have multiple liscences so there should not be a problem.  The following is the error:

Can someone please help me figure out why this is happening?

Without more information there is not much we can say about it.

What OS/SP ?
What exact versions of avast are you trying to install ?
Is there any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)
etc.

It's a Win7. And the OP is trying to install avast v12.3.3154.
What other security software do you have now or ever had?
If uninstalled, how was it removed?

The only other security related software installed is defender and cyberghost vpn.
