The point of it is possibly because it might bring a small amount of revenue to support the developers of CCleaner and be able to keep it free.

Hi Sasha,

But then again I think, couldn't it be that CCleaner put on the Yahoo toolbar for its anti-spyware qualities? And if that is so, we can put everything in a different light. There must also be room for positive thinking,

Cybersecurity is more of an attitude than anything else. Avast Evangelists.

Use NoScript, a limited user account and a virtual machine and be safe(r)!

Ehhh... the Anti-Spyware on the Yahoo Toolbar is the worst I've tried. It deleted some System files and I was unable to boot to windows. The loading process would freeze in the middle. that was over a year ago but still. I've stayed away from Yahoo.  ::)

My 2 cents:
A program designed to get rid of garbage, would have no reason to add garbage (Yahoo Toolbar) to your system
unless it's getting some kind of royalty.
They may very well need the money to continue future development but I'd rather contribute than find a surprise
when I install this or any other program.  >:(
