Нельзя ли в ежедневных обновлениях выкладывать только новое (100-200 Kb), а не полную базу (3,2 Mb). При загрузке 46,6 Kbit/s? получается очень долго.

That's exactly how it is done - only the differences are transferred (maybe unless you didn't update for over a year).
What exactly did you update - program or virus database?

I use a dial-up connection and have no problem with the update sizes, but I update my virus database and program regularly, so they don't get very big.

я имел ввиду размер vpsupd.exe, а не autoupdate. Почему бы не сделать как в DR.Web - vpsBASE(in Avast! distributive,3000KB) + vpsupd001(10KB), vpsupd002(10KB)...

Yes, vpsupd.exe contains the whole virus database. That's how it is, sorry. Only a very small number of users use this method - and we are not going to generate hundreds of "differential executables".
