Server 2008 R2, avast blocks the launch of applications

When I run some applications, for example FAR2, a window with error 0xc0000142 appears. Nothing appears when I start some others, but the applications do not start. Even the command line does not start.
When I turn off the avast application screen, the application will start normally. Two days ago everything worked fine.

While it is not possible to know the exact cause here you can try to create an exclusion for your application and see if that helps.

Also perhaps try the fix mentioned below that impacted someone running older AutoCAD apps:
