So this release candidate has lived for... 4-5 hours? Not good. I thought that release candidate was once you fix all known issues with betas and you release a RC which is supposed to be all known good just in case something shows in the last seconds. Through this whole campaign it felt like marketing was above engineers and developers when in fact Marketing are nothing without them.

How can you be OK with releasing this while the firewall blocks OpenVPN based connections ?

This is still a beta build.

Hi Dave, not anymore. It has been released today.

Pathetic, it appears that there are still issues outstanding from earlier beta versions.

Prepare for the storm, I hope there will be a lot more avast presence in the forums.

EDIT: removed image.

According to the devs, they will get fixed with uUpdates during this week. Let's see.

:-[  hope for the best, but I have this feeling since V9 came out... in my opinion, it feels like they somehow lost direction since then!

Clicking on "Details" in the notifications still starts a new scan if you have clicked on Done in the results.

Clicking on "Details" in the notifications still starts a new scan if you have clicked on Done in the results.

That simply isn't happening on my installation, Clicking Done doesn't restart the Smart Scan, all it does is take you back to the UI Home Screen, Status tab. This shows the Run Smart Scan button, but it isn't starting a scan for me.

Once you click Done and then open the notifications and click on "Details" it will start a new scan instead of showing the results of the last one.

I chose many permutations and none kicked off the smart scan again.

But I have managed to replicate it this time as it showed Two instances of the smart scan had run and '2' in the Bell notifications. Previously I only had '1' in the Bell notifications, then clicking Details in one of them Kicked of the smart scan, now I have '3' in the Bell notifications.

Clicking done now shows 3 smart scans have run, it now looks like the escalation of the Notifications being displayed described by RejZoR in earlier betas, so it looks like that is back with a vengeance. Now I only have '1' in the Bell notifications but 4 entries for the smart scan.

I draw a line at clicking on details again - so I clicked Dismiss all to get out of this escalation of the Bell notifications saga.
