You run a scan. You go to the notifications. You click on "Details" and the normal "Done" button shows. You click the "Done" button and then open notifications, the entry is still there and clicking on "Details" again doesn't show the report but starts a new scan. It can be improved by showing the details for the on demand scan for this scan.

It will be good to add a settings and schedule button to the smart scan right from the tile where it is started as in other scans and to remove the option to schedule boot scan in the settings. What happens when i schedule a boot time scan to run recurrently in some time? My PC will restart as i work on it to do the boot time scan? And why you would run a boot time scan recurrently? Why do you release a version which is not ready i don't know.

What happened to the "boot time scan" settings?  There used to be the option to set the "Boot time scan parameters" and delete "When a threat is found, and apply the following action", as well as set the Heuristics sensitivity and other settings,  but now with the new version I don't see ANY options for the scan?  Where did these settings go?  I hope Avast did NOT remove them.  Please let me know how to find these settings (if they're still there).

Hi all testers,

thank you for your feedback from the last beta build! We fixed a few bugs and this is the last beta refresh before the final release. It is the release candidate.

What's new:

 - Fixed boot time scan UI flow
 - Fixed Rescue disk issues on Windows 8 and higher
 - Component settings screen changed to fit low resolution displays
 - Fixes of the notification center (more are comming later via UI update channel)
 - Fixes in translations

Download links:

https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=179943.0

Known issues:

- Avast account is turned off. Will be enabled later via UI update channel
- Few texts are missing its translations

Protection -> Antivirus -> Other Scans -> Cog wheel.

Boot-time scan settings is somehow broken though... it should be special settings window, not ordinary one.

Thank you so much!  :)  It's a bit confusing though, as it takes you to the settings screen that looks exactly as the custom scan screen.  As long as it "deletes" whatever files may be infected in Boot time scan ...I'm happy.
