Getting a connection error / Timeout expired.  Tried rebooting. License is valid.  Please help, I hate going thru support.

Try one of the other servers and see if one of them is working.

Yes, I've tried that. No matter where I go, I get the same message.

Check the log file and see if it says anything about the reason why it is not working.

:-\ I opened a support ticket.  This service has been difficult since the day I purchased it.

Did I detect a note of sarcasm there?   ;) Cause let me tell you,(IMHO) Avast Support is practically non-existent.  I've had tickets opened for weeks that only saw the light of day after I complained via twitter. I just didn't want to be a pain asking you a thousand questions.  I'm a newbie. But, I would LOVE your help.

Nothing is perfect as they say, but avast support is one of the best I've seen since Moroni is taking care of things there.

I too am having connections issues, tried every location listed in the drop down.  If someone can tell me where to locate the VPN log files on a Mac, I'd be very grateful.

Same issue. Gone through all steps of changing access point, restart computer, checked router settings and finally uninstall/reinstall. Additionally, cannot review my activation code through avast online site, get error message (305) when trying to do this, so reentering that after reinstall isn't happening. Server issues on their end? Opened a ticket. They have gotten back to me reasonably fast in the past.

I'm having the same problem. Also, after deinstalling SecureLine I can't activate it anymore from the Avast application.
