I am avast password users, how can I self-authorization?
My device has been deleted in my account, because reinstall the system and other reasons. I read the official description and to explore their own, but little progress at all.

Hi Liangke,

for self-authorization you need to find an email we sent to your email address when you turned on syncrhonization. The email has subject 'Your backup identity'. There is a link in that email that you need to click on. Then simply follow the instructions.

You can find more information here: https://www.avast.com/faq.php?article=AVKB255#idt_04

No, that is not possible.

If you had synchronization enabled, you can use that to retrieve the stored passwords.
If you didn't, you need to start from scratch.

As you reinstalled Windows, the data is already gone unless you had synchronization enabled.

If synchronization was enabled, place the system in the existing group and it will retrieve all the stored passwords.

Dear Tomas,

I have a similar issue. I used to have my Avast Passwords synchronized. But I forgot my master password. I want to start using Avast Passwords again but am unable to synchronize my new Vault because the old still exists. How can I get either access to the synchronized old vault (do not remember the initial master password) or delete the old vault so I can start over?
Will send you this in private message aswell.

Kind regards,
Kevin

If you don't remember your master password then there is not chance to get into vault

To resolve your state you need to delete passwords storage manually i will provide you instructions via private message.

Hi I had to reinstall passwords on both my Android and my PC and I now have two devices that need authorising , however these were the only two devices I had it set up on . I have never received an email  'Your backup identity' .

Please let me know what I need to do to restore my passwords to these two instances.

Thanks

John
