Where can I get offline version of Avast Free v12.3.2279 (or v12.3.2280)?

I need to role back from Avast Free v17.1.2286 (build 17.1.3394.0) as it's been disastrous for my Windows 7 Ultimate system.

(see posting at https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=196470.msg1365045#msg1365045 and https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=196445.msg1365047#msg1365047)

I would also like to know where I can get the installer for the previous version.  It was (almost) working fine before I attempted to upgrade, at which point Avast committed suicide and I was forced to remove it completely.

Download, disconnect from the internet and install.  If you don't then it will install latest version.

Remember to change update program setting to "manual" before reconnecting to internet.

Thanks.

Between me posting the question very late last night (4:30am) and your answer this afternoon (16:10) I also found the Orbital Downloads website.  I downloaded both v12.3.2280 and v12.3.2279, but only the latter seemed to work, so that's what I installed.

The link is http://orbitaldownloads.com/avast-antivirus_12.3.2279/ .

I did try the websites of File Hippo and NeoWin, but despite them saying the download file was for v12.3.2279 the file size was the same as for the later v17.1.2286 (the troublesome version I was trying to rollback from).

As I did (successfully) a Windows uninstall of the latest Avast before (re)installing the slightly older version I lost some (or all) of my settings, specifically the email notifications of viruses found.  Think I've managed to reset that back to the special address I'd set up.  Have also managed to set the "Update Program" setting to "Ask"!!!   ;)
