Problem with video (AFTER UPDATE)

Hi everyone.

Yesterday my video downloader start working again. BUT today, AFTER UPDATE, i got another, even worse problem:

- I cant see any video clip!! For example:I go to the site. Then i clicked on the play button. All looks normal. BUT i cant see video - only black screen. I hear the sound. And i can download the clip. Interface works fine. But i cant see video! And if i'm try to push "full screen" button i see... a "wrong picture" (watch printscreen under the text).
And it's NOT ONLY for youtube... Video does not work anywhere. 

I'm tried another browser - and all works fine. So... problem only with safezone browser (AFTER UPDATE).

 I'm tried uninstal\reinstal safezone component, and "repair" from control panel - doesnt help.

Anyone know, whats... wrong?

Ok, thanks for info.Now i can show printscreen... but the problem still here. :(

Hi, thanks for the report.

We are investigating some problems with video content. We are working on fix which will be delivered very soon via browser update.

It's strange that we cannot reproduce any issues on youtube..

But... it's not youtube ONLY... safezone browser cant reproduce any video, no matter where... interface\sound\icons\options (all functions) - yes. But instead video - black screen.

Few hours  ago (somethin in 1 or 2 PM) Avast ask me to restart PC (for some fix) don't know... was it those fix, that a you a talking about... or another one. But it did not help.

I have exactly the same problem...especially with videos on facebook. It's either black with sound or the video is completely corrupted with sound.

glad im not the only one with this problem.  hope it gets fixed soon.  no video in facebook or youtube.

February 23rd... nothing fixes the problem.
Started with Google Maps going black, then You Tube going Black screen... Then Amazon video errors 7235...

Un-Installed/Reinstalled... re-did settings... still no go.

"Your web browser is missing a digital rights component. In the address bar, go to chrome://plugins and ensure Widevine Content Decryption Module is enabled. If missing, install it by going to chrome://components and under WidevineCdm, click Check for update. For further assistance, please contact Amazon Customer Service at www.amazon.com/videohelp and refer to error 7235."

I followed all the steps listed in previous posts and got You Tube and Googlemaps back... but still cannot view Amazon content.
I also followed the Amazon instructions.. it is enabled..., but still cannot play video on Amazon...

I confirm we have already received reports about Widevine Content Decryption Module which is needed for example on Netflix.

We are working on fix.

Btw it is not related to the original maps, video issue. THis is different problem. I cannot reproduce any issues on youtube..

Thank you for the reply.

Just clearing things up. I have You Tube and Google Maps working with the hardware acceleration turned off. (Nvdia GTX 970m)
But it still does not work with it enabled.... so the work-around works, but it's not "resolved" since it's still an issue imo.

The only problem left is the Amazon Widevine error. I assumed they were connected since they happened at the same time for me.

Thank you for letting me know it is being looked into.

Hi,

We have released hotfix of the DRM video problem. Netflix should work now if you have Avast 17.x
