You are not protected; non-functional components
« on: February 09, 2017, 03:35:41 AM »
Mac OS 10.11, 10.12
I needed to reinstall my free license of Avast Business Security after system upgrades. I pushed out the installer via ARD as I did when I first set this up. The software installs and the Macs shows as "safe" in my Devices list, but on the app itself, it says "You are not protected" and shows all components as being "non-functional." Also, there was a "license expired" notification that appeared right after I pushed out the installer.

So I removed the Macs from the Devices list. I logged on to the Macs, connected to my Avast account console in the browser, chose Add New Device, and downloaded my installer, and I get the same results.

So connected to AfB console, it shows not protected on the client due to license failure, and you got the same on reinstall?

What does it show in the console for the license status of the Mac, and how many unused licensed to you have currently(any?)?

Fixed in version 12.5 released yesterday (https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=197158.0). Could you please confirm that the status in console is displayed correctly?
