Expired, umm not

I'm on auto pay, have been for months.
Away for 2 days, come home says i'm expired.
Have my license file on the desktop, click it
says expired, not good!

We can't try to help if you don't provide details.

What OS/SP ?
What exact version of avast/vpn ?
Any other security (related) software installed ? (or was there)
Already performed a repair ?
Already performed a clean installation ?
Already downloaded the license through you avast account and tried that ?

I think the problem is
Loaded win 10 about a month ago.
Dloaded secureline but it gave me the trial.
Nowhere to enter your license don't think, i looked a couple times.
So tried to delete everything today and start over, click my license file that i've had for many months. says expired. Can't remember where i found the license file been so long, looking around avast now.
