Unwanted actions

Hi,
I've just updated the antivirus program to 17.1.2286 and now every time I open my media player I get a message from avast saying that it has been added to the list of games. Please can someone advise me how I can stop Avast from doing this.

I'm sorry but this makes no sense to me.
The only links I can see in your reply are a generic one for the board and another one in German which seems to be a list of a load of Avast forums and software.
If I could find the answer on the board, I wouldn't have raised the issue in the first place.
Can someone be more specific please since I do not want to have to waste a lot of time on this

The Forums are divided into sub-forums, related to the various avast products, this General forum is for things unrelated to the main products. There are also sub-forums for other languages.

Basically the link given by Asyn should go to the Avast Free Antivirus/Pro Antivirus/Internet Security/Premier, not for specific advice but to post your question in the correct forum.

Clicking the New Topic button at the top of the listings creates a topic in the correct sub-forum. I hope this is clearer as to what you  should do.
