Software Updater "The online content is unavailable" error Avast Pro

When I try and use the software updater  I get a pop up saying: The online content is unavailable
Please, check your internet connection and try again.

Clearly my internet is fine, so what's going on?

Could be a glitch on the avast servers.
Try it again later.
