Why does the Avast Safe Price tab in ver 17.1.2286 insist on loading with FFox

Why does the Avast Safe Price tab in ver 17.1.2286 insist on loading when firefox starts.

Can somebody please assist me in removing this unwanted start up tab. I have tried setting firefox start page back to what it was but avast insists on opening a new tab also onto the Safe Price page.

Or should i just go into my settings and put that url page in my avast blocked websites list or should i use one of my popup blockers to kill that tab?

This is for the paid Premier version 3 pc license.

I have being paying for avast for over a decade now and i have been happy for over a decade but i dislike that i am having something shoved down my throat.

Please Advise..

It is a shame i had to uninstall the SafePrice addon just to get rid of that extra tab. This did not happen with the addon in the last version of avast.
