I'm using Avast 17.1.2286 on Windows 10 64 bits Home.
Today, Avast warns me that a tool bar/extension on my browser has bad reputation. So I click on "Solve it" in order to identify the tool bar.
It appears a line named "Tool Bar" I think. I decided to ignore the warning because I never installed tool bar (defaut settings) and I don't have a dangerous browsering and because Avast warns months ago for the same reason after a clean install of Windows 10 and Firefox (the same day of the clean install).
I use Firefox and in plugins I have: Codec video OpenH264 by Cisco Systems, "Module de déchiffrement de contenu Primetime" provided by Adobe Systems, and "Module de déchiffrement de contenu Widevine" provided by Google Inc.
I decided to look into the logfile and I found "https://www.amazon.fr/exec/obidos/external-search/
" in Search Engine line.
After that I decided to download the manual Avast Browser Cleanup.
When I launched it, Avast warns me about "A tool bar protector "Istartsurf" has been detected on the system" -> I deleted it (but when I launch again the manual Avast BCU, the same message appears).
On Internet explorer, the manual Avast Brower Cleanup did not find anything. On Firefox, "Diagnotics (diagnose FF update problems)",
"Sends HSTS Priming requests", "Application Update Service Helper", "Multi-process staged rollout", "Pocket", "Web Compat".
And now, I don't know what to delete, what to do.
Is it dangerous ?
Can you help me please ?
PS: I hope that my english is not too bad, I'm french.
