Question/Suggestion "Wifi is Dangerous"
« on: February 10, 2017, 06:51:14 PM »
Frequently while at work (after arriving) I'll notice that my phone (personal) is still connected to the xfinity wifi as opposed to one of the wpa2-psk internal wifi networks because I'll see the 'xfinity wifi is dangerous" notification even after being there for a few hours.

If I've got 2-3 other networks that are secured that I'm able to access (that are stronger signal than the xfinity) and phone is scanning periodically for new networks, could it be an option in future round of updates to try to bump the wifi network to a different/secured one? ("connect to known, strongest signal, secured network first, when available")

It's a pain to have to manually switch networks (to faster) all of the time once I realize I'm not on the right one after coming back from lunch.

Edit: using Avast on my Android
