I think I can see why the UI needs to be so large so all of this cr4p will fit.

I guess they have to get it in if you have unchecked the 'Show popup offers for other Avast products' option.  I would say this one certainly falls under the 'Show (popup) offers for other Avast products.' Although not a popup offer, it is certainly an offer for other Avast products.
