how do I remove the license, then re install it? after wiping hard drive?

I have Avast internet security installed and licensed, I need to wipe the hard drive reinstall the O/S and reload all the programs.  how do I un license Avast so I can put it back in? I do not want to lose this license.

- Delete the device from your account
- Download the license file
- Install the OS, drivers and such
- Install avast
- Use the license file

- Resend license file https://www.avast.com/resend-license-paid.php
