Yep... last two days (after patch) all looks... normal. Mmm.. need test it, a bit. But for now - browser works fine.

Thanks-for-fix, guys.

I do not understand, my browser (about...) tells me it is on version 1.51.2220.62 and that it is up to date
I do not see anywhere a menu option to force update to this version

I have issues with the browser freezing after a while when watching videos on youtube, this for a month or so, is this the same issue that is being fixed by the last version ?

Thanks for any help

Virus Alert of ==> Re: New Version: 3.55.2393.561

This is troubling...

I have a freeware program called 'Mosaikify', which basically is an image collator to form a bigger image of various photos; a free to use program if it is below a certain number of source photos.

My Avast antivirus seems to keep thinking that it is a virus and automatically deletes it every time I install it.  It was working fine before; I only noticed this these last few days.  Furthermore, in the following folder=> "C:/Program Files/AVAST Software/SZBrowser/" I find two peculiar folders named "3.55.2393.527" and "3.55.2393.561" respectively.  I presumed they were older versions of Avast that never deleted themselves.

BUT, the reason these folders came to my attention is because my anti virus keeps on detecting the *.exe files in those folders as viruses!

Here is a screen-shot:

I would like to know very much if anyone else is getting similar pop ups, errors, and if staff from within can present a solution and contact me by email.

I do not know a lot about computers.

Absolutely huge topic about this (presumably related) false positive, which has been corrected.

And this topic states that the FP has been resolved, you shouldn't have to do anything unless you sent anything to the virus chest. In which case you need to open the virus chest, select the file and Restore it/them.

We have released the browser update only to Avast 17.1. If you have not updated to this avast version, you will not get it. Browser is not backward compatible because we have introduced new features in avast 17.1 which completely changes the way of using browser profiles.

Please update to the latest avast.

Maybe you use XP or VISTA, you will not get the update in this case.

I can't find the icon in the top-right corner of Safe Zone browser when I tried to open bank mode.

Could anyone tell me how this happened? Thanks.

If you have any problems with update,

1) write here your OS (XP, VISTA are not updated)
2) write here your Avast version (Avast -> Settings -> About)

If you have AVAST 17.x version, run the browser and check about page (browser menu - top left button - about), is it downloading a new version? Press F5 several times. If not, restart the browser and check again, then please write here your browser version.

Thank you
