I realized 3/4 thru that something was wrong and this couldn't be a legit virus. All sorts of files were deleted off my computer including personal files. Is there any way to recover them or at least see a log of files that were deleted during the last boot scan? Its going to take me days to reinstall everything and get back all the data I lostSucks to hear this happened to someone over a false positive. This is truly awful D: Thanks avast...I'd usually say this in positivity .Because this virus scanner has helped me in the past, but it's just one big mess today.I am also so sorry to hear that pal! DX Avast had it's downs from time to time with false positives, but overall progress and security is still so great.I was wondering, the VBS Malware is flagging one and the same page, some part of opera main page, that's normal? Although it does on different pages.
