Problems after install pCloud - could it be Avast?

On my XP machine (which I keep updated with the POS hack), when I install pCloud, even before I actually run pCloud, I immediately have problems with explorer.  If I right-click in any folder (explorer) window, the PC freezes, I get errors, must reboot, etc., with problems continuing until I uninstall pCloud.

By any chance, could there be a conflict with Avast?
