a small update of our Mac Security product was released in last week.

What's new:
- fixes for Console management
- fixed localization issues

You can update to the latest version from Preferences > Updates with the "Update now" button in Program section.

Product Manager....cool Is there anyway we can get a "Harden Mode" like the PC version with it's whitelisting variation in aggressive and moderate mode??? We are getting some hacking team code getting copied and pasted now and who knows were this stuff is going to show up now. This would be a GREAT advancement for Avast for Mac. Please be "a head of the curve" with your program and not wait 5 years or more when say Mac malware is more prolific to instate more advances systems like whitelisting. Can we get that now instead of later??

I disagree because there is no Paid version of Mac Security by Avast. I've not seen the Nagscreen but I made a wise decision to have uninstalled it a long time ago.

I am betting it's an upsell for their other Avast products like SecureLine VPN.

Remember Avira Free used to have a Nagscreen, no one liked it.
